Am I strange?
Do I look horrible?
Or am I any different from you?
Why do those eyes keep staring awkwardly?
Why do the smiles seem sarcastic?
Why don’t people come and befriended me?
I’m no more different from you,
Yes, certain aspects made me better then people,
But I need friends, companions,
Those that I can rely on,
For love, care, critique, and attention.
Ignore the barriers, forget the differences,
Take me away from the cage of loneliness,
Free me from excruciating pain of being alone,
Help me regain my youth, my days, my life…

Missing a Missing (A mother to her daughter)
My daughter,
Hope you’re doing fine,
Must be you’re missing mummy and daddy,
As we’ve left you behind..
Sorry for leaving too soon,
As we’re far excited, we’re blind,
You’ve grown up well,
With a big future in line..
This gift of vacation,
Makes us happy to our hearts,
You’ve been such a good daughter,
And darling,
We’re very proud that you’ve ours..
Because of you,
We’re here,
And thanks to you,
We’ll be staying longer,
Enjoying the sights,
Exploring the sounds,
Of the island that we’ve only dreamt of arriving…
We’ll be fine sweetheart,
Do take care of yourself,
And as we’re far apart,
We’ll miss you,
We’ll miss you enough..
Hope you’re doing fine,
Must be you’re missing mummy and daddy,
As we’ve left you behind..
Sorry for leaving too soon,
As we’re far excited, we’re blind,
You’ve grown up well,

Yours sincerely, a best friend.. (to a best friend whom haven’t met for years)
The sky, the sea and the trees,
From afar, they seem tremendously awesome,
By that, I know I made the best decision,
To finally purchase this waterproof camera,
From the store..
The blue, tranquil, azure sky,
The lapsing of crystal clear sea water,
To the shore it ends,
The windy days,
The swaying green trees,
Completed the story,
The best most beautiful island we’ve been to..
Are they still clear to you?
Or had they been washed away by years of killing silence?
This vacation after our graduation,
Marked a change in our direction,
The best scenery we watched,
The most delicate sand we touched,
And,
Two hearts we tied,
By friendships that’s not gonna die..
Cherish this picture,
Uphold its memories,
As we’ll be best friends,
Forever, we will..

How time passed..
Glancing back to the years,
How fast time passed by,
How youthful were we,
How beautiful and vibrant we look..
The night of your birthday revealed it all,
This picture spoke a thousand words,
He loved you,
Did he not reveal that to you that time?
Sure he had, as you looked really happy,
I can still remember,
As this is the picture I took,
During we had the celebration.
How fast time passed,
I found this precious picture,
Hidden in a dusty golden wrapped box,
I ought to send it to you,
As a remembrance of the good days we had together
Although now,
You’re living without him anymore,
He must always be praying for you,
Right up from heaven.
Live with the memories,
Though time had really passed,
You’ll be strong,
My most dear long lost friend..

Me..Crazy..Rosie
Rosie dearie..
How pitiful I am that you left me.
Five years together,
How could it end tragically..
Damn Rosie,
How could you do this to me..
Breakin up with me,
You surely made me go crazy,
How did it feel Rosie,
You’re doing good without me, ey?
For you its easy,
But I’m suffering,
Is it because I can’t dance that you left me?
Maybe it is
Coz you seem so much happier dancing with Tim..
You made me dance alone,
In those white outfit,
Yeah, I look like a fool,
But did you know ohh Rosie,
That moment opened the door,
For a dancing career I’ve never thought before.
Now I’m a great dancer,
Thanks to that very irritating photo of mine.
I’ve lost you dear Rosie,
But I’m now a far better man,
And I surely know,
You’ve regret for leaving me back then.
How pitiful I am that you left me.

Between two walls..
Between two walls,
Surrounded by the stars and moonlit,
I discovered a lovely place…
It’s not beautifully decorated,
Neither warm nor cozy,
But in the coldness of air,
It gives me meaning to be there alone..
When I feel sad,
Or when I desire a close friend,
When the night seemed long,
And when my eyes can’t sleep,
My bedroom I left, towards the kitchen I walked,
The screeching sound of the kitchen door,
Opened me the best world I’ve known,
There, between the two walls,
It accompanied me,
Let me hid, let me cry, let me surfaced my heart
Suprisingly as I grow up,
It never get bored,
Watching me nearly everyday at night,
And I’m sure it’s a true friend,
As it didn’t get tired,
Instead, it heals me more..
I cried there, my heart gets less sore,
I hid there, I found greater passion,
Deeper determination to strive..
Even being very far apart,
How lost I felt,
To the place between the two walls..
Surrounded by the stars and moonlit,
I discovered a lovely place…

THE FASTING MONTH…
Alhamdulillah, finally we meet again the month full of blessings, RAMADHAN. I really appreciated the chance of being able to go through another Ramadhan month this year. It does not only teach us muslims about the need to fast, but with it comes many other beneficial and good formula for our health. Everyone should grab this opportunity to become someone very much respected in the future.
Before Ramadhan began, I have deep thoughts on how my “berbuka puasa” and “sahur” would be. In the sense that, what shuld I eat? My aunt introduced, or can I say promoted me to register under a food service company, Mangkuk Tingkat.com. This company will deliver foods for “berbuka puasa” and “sahur” to your doorstep. And, it is very much affordable too. I thought of that as the best solution to my problems. With Mangkuk Tingkat, I don’t have to crack my head on thinking about what to eat everyday. Unfortunately, I was late one day to register, so I missed the service for this Ramadhan. It’s okey, maybe not my luck.
The first few days of Ramadhan were very exciting. I managed to “berbuka puasa with my housemates at home, and we cook! That’s the best thing. This is the first experience for me as when I stayed in the hostel, we just bought food at the nearby “bazaar ramadhan”. I have to tell, home cooking tastes much better. You decide how you want your food to taste, so you can’t complain. The time spent in the kitchen together did bring us housemates closer. We share jokes, stories about our family, and some recipes we learnt at home with our mothers. It was enjoyable.
Besides the food, I am also thankful to God for providing me strength and good health. But most important is, time. Alhamdulillah, I have time to perform my “tarawikh” at the mosque nearby. But I often feel sleepy after coming home just after “tarawikh” prayer. Sometimes I just went to sleep soon after that. And leave my assignments unattended until “sahur” time comes. Guess I need to find a way to avoid my sleepiness as many assignments are on their way.
What’s very interesting about my Ramadhan this year is that I do not have the opportunity to break the fast with my family members. When my family was still staying in Kuala Lumpur, I often go back home during weekends to break the fast. Now that they’re living in Sabah, only phone calls bonded us together. My younger brothers too are fasting okey. They even woke my mother up for “sahur”. I guess they want “duit raya” from my dad if the perform full 30 days of fasting. Well, things never came free in this world right?
Without realizing it, it had been nearly two weeks into Ramadhan. How fast time moves. Maybe two or three days more, Hari Raya songs will be played on radios and televisions. That’s when the spirit of Hari Raya will be felt by Muslims. With this opportunity, I would like to wish all my friends a blissful Ramadhan, and a joyous Hari Raya celebration. May we always be united as Muslims…

Tweety Oh Tweety
This blog wants me to address my favourite fictional character. I keep thinking and thinking. Many of the fictional characters are just watched, with no particular and elaborative reason. But in a sudden, POP! It came to my mind. I have been watching this cartoon on television since I was a little girl. And this character had always been in my head. And what's more, I really love this character. Even until now, I still watch this cartoon aired sometimes at TV3, and Cartoon Network.
I know most probably many people recognize this character. TWEETY BIRD in one of the cartoons by Looney Tunes Production. This bird belongs to Granny, who also has a pet cat called Pussycat. This is my favorite fictional character of all. The famous tagline always spoken by Tweety, if anyone can still remember is “I Thought I saw a pussycat! Very cute.
Why do I choose Tweety as my favourite fictional character? Hmm, its because first of all, I really love the yellow color of this bird. It seems sexy to a bird so cute. I really looked up to the cartoonist who came up with this image of a bird. Big round head and toned up body with adorable little wings and a little mouth. That was why I started watching this cartoon since I was 6 years old. Another reason is because I felt that the colours used in this cartoon are bright, vibrant and very appealing to the eye. And as children, it seemed really inviting to watch.
Besides the colour of Tweety, I admire its intelligence. We can see in every episode of this cartoon, Tweety always gets the chance to run away from Pussycat. Pussycat always wants to make Tweety its meal, thus Pussy always tries to trick this little yellow bird. Eventhough Tweety is far smaller compared to Pussycat; its intelligence has always managed to make fool of Pussycat, and at the same time escaped Tweety from being eaten. I remembered one episode of this cartoon, where Pussycat tried to bait Tweety to make it come out of the bird cage. The bait was of course Tweety’s favourite food. But Tweety could not be easily fooled. Instead, it ate all the food and ran into a hole where Pussy could not reach. Sometimes though, Tweety is not that smart either. At times, Pussycat with its tricks, managed to catch Tweety and put the yellow bird in its mouth. Unfortunately, Tweety is always saved by chance. Granny will realize that Pussycat had Tweety in its mouth. Granny will hit, or sometimes push open Pussy’s mouth to save Tweety. Its small size usually do make Tweety the victim.
By watching this cartoon, it shows me on how we should tolerate on each other if we’re living under the same roof. Both Tweety and Pussycat is owned by Granny, and no matter how appealing Tweety Bird is to Pussycat, they should compromise and live together. This character also portrayed the fact that size is not the hindrance for you to get the life you wanted. You can fight for what you want. Like Tweety, you can trick people using your intelligence if they try to take advantage of your physical state.
